The Pinery Market – A Blast From The Past

We recently had so much fun creating a brand-new website design for The Pinery Market. I remember being a kid and loving the summer for the chance to go to Grand Bend, grab some ice cream and browse around the market with my family in the hot summer sun. Designing this website was like a blast from the past and we’re excited to share this recent work with you all.

The Pinery Market has so much to offer so content wasn’t scarce when designing this site. We included the history, possibilities, and summer events/ news of the market on the homepage, with a static bar featured at the left side of the screen with all the pertinent information. Everything you need to know about the market you can find on their website. There are so many ways for you to become involved with Grand Bend’s local market, whether as a visitor or a vendor, The Pinery Market welcomes you.

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words.

The Pinery Market provided us with a lot of extravagant photos from past years to be used on their webpage. These pictures became backgrounds for sections, media icons for specific services, and visual to convey the busy and unique nature of this traditional flea market. Like the old adage goes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

We also made sure to create a mobile friendly website for the Pinery, because this is a common destination for travellers on those long Sunday summer days. Included are clear directions from common cities that folks come from including Sarnia and London. Having an accessible website is so important these days, especially for a common attraction like Grand Bend’s Pinery Market.

This magical place has everything from artisan vendors, antique pieces, a farmer’s market offering local agricultural product, home made baked goods and preserves like jam, honey or syrup! They have a licensed bar, so you can relax and enjoy a cold one, live entertainment from a local musician, and enough food vendors to put you in a food coma!

Support Local, and Encourage the Tradition

Working with local businesses doesn’t even feel like work. It’s an incredible chance for RevolvedMedia to dive into feelings of nostalgia, support local, and encourage the tradition of family flea market fun for future generations to enjoy.
